Each alumni of the Arabic Study Program UGM will join three alumni organizations that will help prepare graduates in pursuing careers and facing the world of work. The three alumni organizations are:

Keluarga Alumni Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAGAMA)

All alumni of Universitas Gadjah Mada are members of Keluarga Alumni Universitas Gadjah Mada or commonly known as KAGAMA. KAGAMA is a university alumni association that was formed on December 18, 1958 after a meeting of faculty alumni at the UGM Dies Natalis in 1958. KAGAMA members are not only spread across Indonesia, but also in various parts of the world. For further information, please visit https://alumni.ugm.ac.id.

Ikatan Alumni Sastra dan Budaya or IKASASDAYA is an alumni organization of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences UGM. The presence of IKASASDAYA is expected to promote alumni in the world of work. “Angkringan Cah Sastra” is one of the agendas/events held by IKASASDAYA to provide information related to the world of work, further studies, and various things to students of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences and alumni. Information related to IKASASDAYA can be seen on https://www.instagram.com/kagamafib.

Universitas Gadjah Mada or called IKSAGAMA. The existence of IKSAGAMA is expected to help the students to face the world of work and connect each alumni. The study program collaborates with IKSAGAMA to create a network between students and alumni, both in mentoring, training and job opportunities. Through various activities such as career seminars and discussion forums, students are given the opportunity to understand the needs of the world of work and get direct guidance from alumni who have been successful in various fields.

Furthermore, this collaboration also aims to strengthen synergy in organizing academic and non-academic activities that are relevant to global challenges, such as the development of digital literacy, professional Arabic language skills, and the use of international networks. With IKSAGAMA, it is hoped that students of the Arabic Study Program and alumni can support each other and continue to promote the name of the study program on the national and international level.
