MAGANG BERDAMPAK 2025 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Magang Berdampakis a refined continuation of the former Magang Merdeka program, developed as a result of comprehensive evaluations of the MSIB program, which proved to generate significant positive outcomes. This program is organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) and aims to offer a more integrated and high-impact internship experience for students.

 

📅 REGISTRATION PERIOD: June 16 – July 11, 2025

 

🎒 What You’ll Get:

  • Monthly living allowance of Rp 2.8 million

  • Assigned field supervisors for mentoring

  • Cross-sector experience

  • Up to 20 academic credits (SKS) transferable

 

🗓️ Program Timeline:

  • Registration: June 16 – July 11, 2025

  • Partner Company Selection: July 2025

  • Internship Period: August 4 – December 22, 2025

  • Final Report & Student Return Preparation: December 2025

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Active Indonesian students (D2/D3/D4/Bachelor’s), proven by ID card or certificate of residence

  • Must come from an accredited program under Kemdiktisaintek

  • Minimum 2nd semester (D2/D3/D4) or 4th semester (Bachelor’s)

  • Must obtain a recommendation from their Head of Program/Department

  • Must submit a Letter of Commitment (SPTJM) and agree to complete the full duration of the program

 

📍 Registration Flow:

  1. Students register via the Impactful Internship website: https://simbelmawa.kemdiktisaintek.go.id/magang

  2. After creating an account, students must obtain approval from their study program and university leadership to proceed.

  3. Once approved, students can choose internship opportunities and positions of interest via:

  4. Students undergo administrative and technical selection stages conducted by the host company.

  5. Accepted students receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the partner company.

  6. Students will attend a pre-internship training session with guidance from academic supervisors.

  7. The internship will take place from August 4 to December 22, 2025.

IKMASA Fun Basketball: Fun, Fitness, and Talent Scouting on the Court

Yogyakarta, May 24, 2025 – In the spirit of promoting fitness, team spirit, and athletic potential among students, the Arabic Study Program Student Association (IKMASA) of Universitas Gadjah Mada launched its first basketball training session called Basket Asik IKMASA on Saturday morning, May 24, 2025, at the Faculty of Psychology Basketball Court, UGM.

Starting at 7:00 AM, the session was free of charge and open to all Arabic Study Program students from any year. Participants didn’t come alone—friends, family members, and partners were also welcome, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere on the court.

While the activity was held in a casual and cheerful tone, it also served as an initial step toward discovering promising basketball talent who could represent IKMASA in future sports competitions. 

This initiative also contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDGs 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDGs 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDGs 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by encouraging physical activity and fostering healthy social networks through sports.

Basket Asik IKMASA is a testament to how a culture of health, camaraderie, and positive competition can thrive in a lighthearted and joyful environment—one basketball game at a time.

Creating Meaningful Content: IKMASA Mentoring #2 Explores the World of Content Writing

Yogyakarta, May 19, 2025 IKMASA Mentoring #2 returned to the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, featuring Nur Kumalatus Zahra as the guest speaker. This session invited participants to explore the fundamentals of content writing and the creative process behind producing relevant, educational, and audience-driven content. The event is part of IKMASA’s ongoing soft skill development program for Arabic Study Program students, aligned with the spirit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Nur Kumalatus Zahra, a 2022 Arabic Study Program student and an active content writer at the United Nations Association in Indonesia, shared her experience in crafting impactful digital content. She emphasized how content writing serves as the soul of digital communication, highlighting its importance in today’s fast-paced media landscape.

Her presentation covered the distinctions between content writing and copywriting, the role of content pillars, and the step-by-step workflow of a content writer—from research and interviews to drafting and storytelling. She also introduced the “Double Diamond” method, a creative approach to organizing ideas and executing content effectively. Additionally, participants learned about the importance of proper citations, choosing the right tone, and tailoring writing styles to fit different platforms and target audiences.

The session not only broadened participants’ understanding of the content industry but also instilled values of responsibility in content creation and information sharing. This aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

IKMASA Fun Match Futsal: Building Spirit and Sportsmanship Through Friendly Competition

Yogyakarta, May 23, 2025 – The Arabic Study Program Student Association (IKMASA) of Universitas Gadjah Mada brought together students in a lively sporting event, Fun Match Futsal SASRAB, held on Friday evening, May 23, 2025, at Telaga Futsal 1 starting at 5:30 PM.

Open to all Arabic Study Program students regardless of year or gender, the event also welcomed friends, family members, and partners to join the fun. With a participation fee of just Rp10,000, attendees enjoyed an energetic and friendly futsal match aimed at refreshing minds and bodies after a week of academic activities.

More than just a casual game, Fun Match Futsal SASRAB served as a platform to discover hidden talents and nurture interest in sports, especially futsal, among students. This activity also supports the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDGs 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDGs 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDGs 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by promoting physical wellness and social connection in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Through this fun and energizing event, IKMASA aims to strengthen solidarity and encourage active lifestyles among Arabic Literature students. Fun Match Futsal proves that student bonding, sportsmanship, and well-being can all be fostered—one goal at a time.
