BCA Bakti Scholarship 2026 Opens Applications for University Students

BCA Bakti has opened applications for the BCA Bakti Scholarship 2026, offering university students an opportunity to receive educational support while developing their skills and potential. The scholarship is available in three categories: Financial, Non-Academic Achievement, and Academic Achievement.

The program is open to active undergraduate (S1) students in non-vocational programs who are currently in their third semester and meet the required criteria. Scholarship recipients will receive several benefits, including a monthly allowance, UKT tuition support, networking opportunities, the Bakti Champions Program, and the National Summit.

Applications for the BCA Bakti Scholarship 2026 are open from August 3 to September 3, 2026. The selection process will continue until the scholarship recipients are announced on November 25, 2026.

GIK UGM Opens Project Internship Opportunities for Students

Grha Inovasi Kreatif (GIK) UGM is once again offering students the opportunity to join the GIK Project Internship Program. The program provides students with hands-on work experience while developing their skills in exhibitions, events, and the creative industry. Participants will have the opportunity to get involved in various GIK projects, develop their skills, expand their professional networks, and gain experience working in a collaborative environment. The program is open to active D3/D4/S1 students who are interested in the creative industry.

The available positions include Gallery Sitter, Project Admin, and Content Creator. Applications are open from August 6–12, 2026, followed by interviews on August 13, 2026, with the selection results announced from October 14–18, 2026.

A Thousand Words for a Thousand Memories

In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UGM, we invite alumni, faculty members, staff, and students to contribute to a commemorative book titled “Eight Decades of FIB UGM: Reading the Times, Writing Civilization.”

Through this initiative, individuals are given the opportunity to share their stories—whether personal experiences, memorable moments, or simple yet meaningful memories during their time at FIB UGM. Each piece of writing is expected to reflect the unique perspective of the author. This initiative serves as a collective space to document the journeys, experiences, and both academic and non-academic dynamics that have shaped life within FIB UGM.

Submissions should be in the form of an essay, ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 words, and accompanied by a brief author profile. The theme is open, as long as it relates to life at FIB UGM—from significant events and inspiring figures to spaces that hold nostalgic value.

With the Theme “A Letter for You, the Owner of My Heart,” Penulis Pustaka Officially Opens the 2026 National Letter Writing Competition

Penulis Pustaka officially announces the opening of the 2026 National Letter Writing Competition under the theme “A Letter for You, the Owner of My Heart.” This competition is designed as a platform to appreciate and promote literary expression, encouraging people across Indonesia to convey ideas, reflections, and personal messages through the art of letter writing.

The competition is open to all Indonesian citizens and can be joined free of charge. Participants are invited to submit one original letter addressed to someone who holds significant meaning in their lives, such as parents, partners, close friends, or other important figures.

Registration & Competition Timeline

  • January 28 – February 8, 2026: Registration and submission of works
  • February 10 – 20, 2026: Announcement of selected writers
  • April 30, 2026: Announcement of winners

Writing Guidelines

Submitted works must comply with the following requirements:

  • Free to participate for all applicants
  • Open to all Indonesian citizens
  • Each participant may submit one best original work
  • The letter must align with the designated theme
  • Length: 500–1,000 words, A4 paper
  • The work must be original, not a translation or adaptation
  • File format: Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 spacing
  • Submissions must be uploaded in Word document format
  • File naming format: LMS_Author’s Name

Awards and Recognition

Outstanding participants will receive the following awards:

  • First Prize: IDR 3,000,000
  • Second Prize: IDR 2,000,000
  • Third Prize: IDR 1,000,000
  • Top 10 selected works will receive cash prizes, trophies, medals, printed certificates, and publication in an anthology book

Through this competition, Penulis Pustaka aims to encourage the creation of communicative and reflective literary works that contribute to the strengthening of national literacy culture.
