DOHA INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP IS OPEN!

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies has officially announced the opening of its scholarship applications for Master’s and Doctoral (PhD) programs for the 2026 academic year. The application window is set to open on 1 September 2025, and will remain active until 15 January 2026. Successful candidates are expected to commence their studies in August 2026.

Requirements and Selection Process

The following documents must be prepared:

1. Identity (passport/Qatar ID)
2. Bachelor’s degree transcript
3. Diploma or graduation certificate
4. CV/Resume
5. TOEFL/IELTS (or proof that your bachelor’s degree was taught in English)
6. Personal Statement
7. Academic Essay (only for Social Sciences, Conflict and Security majors)

The entire application process is conducted online through the official portal at https://dohainstitute.edu.qa. Applicants should follow these steps:

1. Register: Create a new account on the official Doha Institute admissions portal.
2. Language Options: Forms may be completed in either English or Arabic.
3. Flexibility: Applicants can save their progress and return to the form multiple times before final submission.
4. Submission Policy: Only one application per person is permitted.

All costs, including tuition, accommodation, round-trip transportation tickets, and monthly living allowances, will be fully covered by Doha University.

Various scholarship schemes are offered annually by Doha University to attract academically outstanding students, both from within and outside Qatar. Scholarships are allocated through a merit-based competition system and are also available for students requiring financial support based on their circumstances.
