Are you an educator passionate about fostering democracy, scientific understanding, and human rights? The Nobel Prize Teacher Summit brings together educators globally with Nobel laureates, leading scientists, and peace advocates to explore critical educational themes. Apply to join the 2025 Nobel Prize Teacher Summit in Stockholm, Sweden.
This year’s theme is “The Future of Democracy.” The summit will delve into crucial questions:
- How can we effectively teach about democracy, cultivate trust, and foster critical thinking skills in our students?
- What skills are essential for young people to become active and informed participants in shaping and preserving a democratic society?
This summit offers 20 teachers financial support to attend a four-day programme that centres around the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit and will held on Friday, 28 March (the international participants are invited to an extended programme from Wednesday, 26 March to Saturday, 29 March).
The scholarship consist of:
- Support for the costs of visa, travel, transfers and meals
- Hotel in Stockholm, 4 nights (booked by the Nobel Prize Museum)
- Introduction at the Nobel Prize Museum on Wednesday, 26 March
- Study visits and workshop on Thursday, 27 March, including lunch
- Conference fee for Friday 28 March, including lunch
- Programme on Saturday, 29 March at the Nobel Prize Museum
- Insurance during the period 25-30 March
- A personal letter of invitation, for use when applying for a visa and the like
