Tahun ini, program beasiswa KSE UGM untuk pertama kalinya membuka kesempatan bagi mahasiswa D4 juga!

 

Periode Pendaftaran: 26 Maret – 30 April 2025

 

Persyaratan Pendaftar:

  1. Mahasiswa aktif S1/D4
  2. Minimal semester 2
  3. Belum menikah
  4. Tidak sedang menerima beasiswa dari fakultas, universitas, lembaga atau pihak ketiga lain
  5. Melakukan pendaftaran melalui www.beasiswa.or.id

Dari Cita-Cita hingga LPDP: Kuliah Umum Sastra Arab UGM Bekali Mahasiswa Hadapi Masa Depan​

Yogyakarta, 19 Februari 2025 – Program Studi Sastra Arab Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada menggelar kuliah umum bertajuk Merajut Asa, Meraih Cita di Auditorium Soegondo lantai tujuh. Acara ini ditujukan untuk membangkitkan semangat para mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa bagi mahasiswa baru.

Acara ini menghadirkan tiga narasumber yang hebat dan inspiratif, yaitu Dian Kinayung, S.Psi, M.Psi., Nuri Anjani, S.S. (Sastra Arab UGM 2019), dan Garin Arivian Muhammad, S.S (Sastra Arab UGM 2020). Masing-masing narasumber membagikan pengalaman, pandangan, serta tips and tricks terkait perencanaan masa depan serta pengembangan diri.

Kuliah umum ini dibuka oleh Kepala Program Studi Sastra Arab UGM, Ibu Dr. Zulfa Purnamawati, S.S., M.Hum., dengan memberikan sambutan dan pesan semangat untuk seluruh mahasiswa yang hadir. Setelah sambutan, acara dilanjutkan dengan sesi utama, yakni Talkshow yang dipandu oleh Nur Kumalatuz Zahroh, mahasiswa Sastra Arab UGM angkatan 2022. 

Pembicara pertama, Nur Anjani, S.S. menyampaikan materi Kontribusi Anak Muda Untuk Kemanusiaan dan Pemberdayaan Umat Melalui Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat. Ia membagikan pengalaman bekerja di Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM), termasuk persiapan, tantangan, dan pembelajaran yang didapatkan dari dunia kerja tersebut.

Pembicara kedua, Garin Arivian Muhammad, S.S. menyampaikan materi berjudul Self Exertion to Realize the Plans and Goals. Ia menekankan pentingnya kesiapan di masa kini guna menghadapi masa depan yang akan datang serta tahapan-tahapan untuk meraih beasiswa bergengsi seperti LPDP.

Pembicara ketiga, Dian Kinayung, S.Psi, M.Psi. menyampaikan materi berjudul Cita-citaku, Masa Depanku. Ia membahas tentang manfaat cita-cita untuk masa depan dan langkah-langkah yang harus diambil untuk merangkai cita-cita.

Kuliah umum ditutup dengan sesi diskusi interaktif, penyerahan kenang-kenangan narasumber, dokumentasi, serta kuis berhadiah yang disambut antusias oleh para peserta. Melalui acara ini, Prodi Sastra Arab UGM berharap mahasiswa dapat lebih siap dan terarah dalam merancang masa depan mereka.

Applications for the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) for 2025/26 are Opened

The Government of Ireland offers scholarships to exceptional international students pursuing master’s, postgraduate diplomas, or PhDs. This program, funded by the Irish government and managed by the Higher Education Authority, provides scholarships to 60 students annually for one year of full-time study in Ireland. The aim is to support high-achieving international students in their academic pursuits within the Irish higher education system. 

The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship consist of:

  • Full fee waiver
  • €10,000

These are following general requirements that students must be completed:

  1. Origin outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
  2. Applicants must have a conditional or final offer of admission to that higher education institution at the time of applying for the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship and will be required to submit a copy of same.
  3. Prospective candidates who have previously held a GOI-IES scholarship are not eligible to apply. 
  4. In the following for 2025-26:
    • 1 year taught Masters programme (full time)
    • 1 year of a PhD programme (full-time)

Applicants are expected to demonstrate:

  • A record of outstanding academic achievement;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Participation in extracurricular activities, for example humanitarian work, politics, arts or sport;
  • A strong rationale for pursuing their study in Ireland that indicates how a Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship would align with their longer-term goals

The deadline for applications will be on March 5, 2025 (5pm Irish time).

The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for the 2025/2026 is Open

Foreign students are encouraged to apply for the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year. This scholarship offers the chance to study at the diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate master’s level in higher education institutions within Brunei Darussalam. These are following universities that applicant can be place to pursue their studies:

Ineligible applications will be rejected.  Check the following eligibility criteria before you apply:

  1. Not exceed  the age of 35, for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programmes, on the first day of July on the year when the course/programme starts.
  2. Be proficient in English with a Credit 6 at GCE ‘O’ Level Examination or a Grade ‘C” in IGCSE English (as a second language) or an IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEFL minimum score of 550.
